CONSERVATION CORNER

Help Us Make a Difference. Join Our Mission To Cleanup Our Rivers and Lakes!

Did you know the environmental damage caused by plastic debris alone is estimated at US$13 billion a year? A glass bottle will take a million years to biodegrade and an aluminum can over 400 years!

Our local lake and river bottoms are filled with loads and loads of discarded trash - glass bottles, aluminum cans, old tires, plastic bottles, and the list goes on and on and on!

To help mitigate the negative impact to the environment and preserve our recreational habitat, Hero Scuba Group conducts monthly Dives Against Debris at our favorite dive sites in order to keep our local marine environments free of debris.

These conservation mission focused events are a great way to meet new people and make a difference for our community!  Come join us at our next event!
